Customers providing regular access for inspection of the water meter readings have the advantage for more accurate control over water consumption and the ability to plan their households’ budget successfully. 

    The individual water meters are read every three months during the visits of the authorized by Sofiyska Voda AD water readers. If the customer cannot give access to the metering devices every time, they could do the reading themselves and submit the data to Sofiyska Voda AD. Despite that, under the Bulgarian legislation, customers are obliged to give access to the meter readers at least once a year.

    In order to facilitate its customers Sofiyska Voda AD leaves an announcement at least 2 working days before the determined date and hour of the visit. The company’s online services also give information for upcoming visits. Until now, the registered site users could find information only for the period of the reading, but soon they will have the exact date at which access to the water meters should be provided.
