Jean SalessyGeneral Manager

Jean Salessy has more than 30 years of international experience in the activities of the group Veolia Environnement, related to the management of international projects for design, construction, operation and maintenance of water infrastructure and utilities. Since 2010 he is CEO of Veolia Water in Portugal. Previously he successfully occupied a number of senior positions in various Veolia divisions in China, Australia, Czech Republic, France. Mr. Salessy has a Master of Chemical Engineering degree from The Chemical Engineering National Superior School of Engineers, Toulouse and postgraduate qualifications for wastewater from The National Institute of Applied Sciences, Toulouse, and Environment of The National School of Health, Rehn. He also holds a certificate in Financial Management from The Open British University of Prague, Prague. communications@sofiyskavoda.bg

Mariana ItevaAdministrative Director

Mariana Iteva has a long experience in the water and wastewater sector in the UK and the Central and Eastern Europe countries. Mariana has worked as a representative of the British water company Cascal for Bulgaria and Eastern Europe, as well as for another UK water sector company, Severn Trent, in Russia. In 2009 Mariana received a 3-month secondment at UK Trade and Investment section at the British Embassy in Moscow in order to study the water supply and wastewater sector in Russia and identify potential opportunities for British water sector companies. Mariana has worked on various projects funded by the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the British International Development Department. She has a Master’s degree from Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski", as well as MBA with specialty in international business development from Aston University in Birmingham, UK. Mariana is fluent in English and Russian and has working knowledge of French. Since January 2010 she has been the Director of Veolia Water for Bulgaria, and since November 2011 – also an Administrative Director of Sofiyska Voda JSC. communications@sofiyskavoda.bg

Miroslav MitkovCommercial Director

Miroslav Mitkov has graduated at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia. He has a Master’s Degree in Engineering Economics and Management. Miroslav has many years of experience in the sphere of telecommunications. During his career he has held various positions such as Head of Billing Department, Senior Revenue Manager, as well as Finance Director in a big chain of stores. In 2008 he has joined the team of Sofiyska Voda as Financial Controller. As of July 2011 he is Commercial Director. communications@sofiyskavoda.bg
