Sofiyska Voda specialists participate voluntarily in the school education programme and visit classrooms or meet young guests in our treatment plants. Our objective is to engage the attention of pupils with issues regarding environmental protection and water, the complex processes it passes through until reaching our homes, as well as the long way back to nature.

 

Since 2006 our programme Water for the future was supplemented with interactive lessons on water conducted in Sofia schools. By means of many competitive games and real experiments, the pupils manage to themselves find solutions to global problems and learn team work while getting to know more about water as a natural resource. Each course ends with a visit to the Company’s facilities.

 

The school educational programme of Sofiyska Voda includes modules for children between 3rd and 11th grade. The material presented takes into consideration their level of knowledge end the teaching material included in the programme for the respective class.
