A water tank truck with drinking water and plastic water containers were provided by Sofiyska Voda to help people from the town of Svoge yesterday after the declared state of disaster due to the surprising lack of water occurred in the region. The Iskretska River suddenly ran dry and left without water more than 15,000 residents in the region of Svoge and the villages of Svidnya, Iskrets and part of Tsarevo.     
People have been without water for two days already. The Municipality of Sofia through Sofiyska Voda and the Municipalities of Ihtiman, Gotse Delchev, Dupnitsa and Devin participated in the rescue operation.  
The In-house Failure and Maintenance Team of Sofiyska Voda will continue to support the people in distress until the problem is finally resolved.
