20.04.2026

Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions of Sofiyska Voda, approved by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, will enter into effect on 19 April 2026.
Pursuant to the amendments, customers of the company will be issued e-invoices unless they explicitly state their wish to be issued paper invoices.  A 6-month transition period is provided for, during which customers should file an application with the operator, where they must specify their current email address to receive their e-invoices or their wish to receive a paper invoice. Customers will receive an application form by mail with their monthly water invoice, they can download it from the company’s website www.sofiyskavoda.bg, or obtain it at the Customer Service Centers. It is important that the form is completed and signed by the account holder or his/her authorized representative.Customers, who have already subscribed for electronic invoicing, do not need to submit an application.
After filling out and signing the application, it must be submitted to the company in one of the following ways:
- Online via the form for online communication on the website https://www.sofiyskavoda.bg/qa (attaching a photo or a scanned copy)
- Physically at the Customer Service Centers
- By post at the following address: 159, Tsar Boris III Blvd .
- Physically at the offices of Easypay and Fastpay

The easiest way to provide a valid e-mail address to receive e-invoices is directly through the customer profile on the website of Sofiyska Voda or in My Water application, in the Request For An E-Invoice section, where it is not necessary to fill out an application in advance. A customer profile could be created at any time in a few easy steps.
The customer will start receiving e-invoices in the month after submitting the information for an up-to-date e-mail address on the supplied e-mail.
In case within the 6-month transition period, the customer fails to submit the necessary information for receiving e-invoices or does not state their wish for a paper invoice, starting 19 October 2026, the sending of invoices will be suspended.

The issued invoices will be stored in a digital archive on the company’s website for 36 months. Within that period, they may be accessed through the customer’s profile on the website of Sofiyska Voda or in My Water app.
